Go Getters Life Agency began in 2018 with one agent and a simple ambition to build something better.

Founder Suhail Hamid entered the insurance industry at just 19 years old, learning the business from the ground up. As the agency began to grow, so did his understanding of the challenges agents face — from navigating the business without the right support to building within organizations where their independence, ownership, and long-term future didn’t always feel secure.

That experience shaped the foundation of Go Getters.

The goal became simple: build the agency we would choose if we were starting over on day one.

An agency where people can build with confidence. Where agents have true independence and greater control over the businesses they create. Where support is available without dependency — whether someone needs guidance every step of the way or simply needs the infrastructure and freedom to build on their own.

What started with one agent soon became a family venture. About a year after Go Getters was founded, Suhail’s brother, Sam Hamid, and sister, Rangina Hamid, joined him in the business, with Sam entering the insurance industry at just 18 years old.

As Go Getters entered its next stage of growth, Amin Majeed joined the business in 2022 and became part of the team helping move the agency forward. Over time, that growth developed into the organization Go Getters is today, with dedicated support across recruiting, contracting, onboarding, marketing, and agent development.

And while the agency has grown, the philosophy behind it hasn’t changed.

For our agents, we want Go Getters to be a place where they can build something that’s truly theirs — with the support, resources, carrier access, and infrastructure to grow with confidence.

For the families we serve, that same independence means something equally important. Our agents can compare solutions from 35+ insurance carriers, helping families find coverage based on their individual needs rather than being limited to one company’s products.

We built Go Getters to be the agency we wish existed when we started. And we’re building it for every agent and family we have the opportunity to serve.
